Logistics, Expectations, and Pricing Information

Step 1: Just come on in and try some classes with us! Wear sweats or shorts and a T-Shirt!

We make it easy for anyone to try our program! You and/or your child can train for one full week without any obligations. And as you get excited about our program and want to take it further there is just one simple step to follow.

Step 2: Membership (unlimited classes!)

• Monthly tuition: $115

FAMILY RATES ARE AVAILABLE, ASK MR. STRICKLAND!

*Enrollment includes martial arts uniform, all patches, first month's tuition, and membership with Taekwondo America national organization. First family member also receives a student’s manual.

• Membership with automatic renewal, based on automatic payments with a credit/debit card.

Step 3: Just keep showing up, have fun, and enjoy. We told you it was simple.

Testing for rank advancement:

Testing fees are not included in monthly tuition. Testing occurs every two months pending instructor authorization. While testing is not mandatory, most students choose to test. All students are tested by a panel of Black Belt judges and upon passing they receive a new belt and a rank certificate issued by the Taekwondo America National Office. We DO NOT print certificates!

Testing fees for Lil' Tigers, White through Probat. Black Belts:

Testing fees are $60.00 each first 2 family members

$30.00 each additional member.

Recommended black belt through 2nd decided $125.00 each first 2 family members

$65.00 each additional member.

Should a student not pass testing, the student does not pay for next testing until they pass.

Sparring Gear:
Once a student has obtained the rank of Orange Belt (usually 4-6 months in), they will have to purchase Taekwondo America co-branded sparring gear in order to fully participate in class - see column on the right.

Billing is automatic and Tuition may also be paid directly at the HV-TKD via check. We do NOT use 3rd party billing services

Membership Cancelation:

We also understand that sometimes unexpected things happen in life and you may want to cancel your membership for some reason. We will cancel your membership in the first 30 days with no further obligation after receiving your written notice.

SPARRING AND GEAR

At official TKD America testings and tournaments, TaeKwonDo America co-branded gear is required to participate. (insurance regulations)

Complete sparring gear is required to participate in free sparring, including mouthpieces for all sparrers and groin protection for all males.

Cost for gear is approximately $184.50 for males, and $173.70 for females, and includes the following items::
