Martial arts training develops students into leaders. The Highland Village Demo team gives students an opportunity to demonstrate that leadership to other students, and to the community at large. Whether it is greeting the troops as they return home from Iraq or helping with CCA, Special Olympics, and the AIDS Center, the Highland Village Demo team takes the lead in exemplifying the quality of our students.

Many of the techniques our most talented students are capable of doing do not fit neatly into one of our structured forms. Also, the practical self-defense we teach doesn't lead to many opportunities for the extreme kicks and techniques which some of our students have mastered.

Finally, our normal curriculum does not include weapons training. However, for demonstration purposes, weapons skills are entertaining and amazing!

	Our demo team has performed at several national tournaments and testings. In addition, we have entertained locally at the Highland Village Red, White, and Blue festival, school events, and boy scout festivals!

Because of the following which has developed, our demo team has also been called upon to help with the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life and Special Olympics events.
